Today I learned that what is the circular economy
A circular economy is a mode of production and consumption that involves sharing, renting, reusing, repairing, renovating, and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible. This can extend the life cycle of the product.

In practice, this means reducing waste to a minimum. When the product reaches the end of its useful life, its materials will be kept as economical as possible. These can be used again and again to create more value.

Rethinking Progress explores how to redesign the way our economy works through a change of perspective — designing products that can be “remanufactured” and powering the system with renewable energy.

What is the new materiality?

New materials can explore sustainable ways to create and discover new forms. According to the video, new materials can be used to create new furniture or products through innovative processing of materials.
